Scherry May Named Maintenance Support Director

Maintenance is the heartbeat of Aim’s day-to-day operations. In fact, Aim’s award-winning service not only sustains us; it elevates us. It’s why more and more companies are choosing Aim for their transportation needs. Aim as a company doesn’t get to its elite level without hardworking, dedicated individuals, those like Scherry May, who was recently promoted to Maintenance Support Director.

Scherry got her start in the transportation industry back in 1996 working for Fyda Freightliner in the warranty department. Two years later, in ’98, Scherry would join Aim’s warranty department, and, going on 25 years since, she has climbed the ranks while simultaneously establishing herself as an invaluable resource for Aim’s nationwide maintenance division.

Justin Battisti Promoted to Aim Controller

Justin Battisti has been named Aim Transportation Solution’s Controller. Since coming onboard in 2021 as the Assistant Controller, he has been a vital part of Aim’s accounting operation and, by extension, the company’s overall success.

In his new, enhanced role, Justin will work closely with Paul Slater—who was recently promoted to Vice President, Corporate Controller—on all accounting functions, including high-level accounting and managerial accounting.

Mechanics Michael Fry and Mario Davis from our Walton Hills shop were leaving the gym near Streetsboro, OH, and noticed a woman having car trouble. They offered their assistance to Michele Joseph, who said that she had previous troubles with her car not starting.

Aim Fleet Asset Manager Retires from Military after 37 Years of Service

Shirley Bland, Aim’s Fleet Asset Manager, recently retired from the military, as a Master Sergeant, after 37 years of service. Bland has been an integral part of Aim’s day-to-day operations since joining the company 35 years ago. For more than three decades, she has successfully balanced her military career, including multiple overseas deployments, with her Aim career and raising her children.
