Aim Maintenance Promotes Three

Aim Transportation Solutions is thrilled to announce three promotions within its robust maintenance division: LeRoy Casali has been promoted to Director of Maintenance ProShops (while continuing as Director of Maintenance for Aim shops in Colorado and Arizona); Nick Martin to Director of Maintenance West; and Marcus Hawk to Regional Maintenance Director Region 8.

Maintenance is at the core of Aim Transportation Solutions’ day-to-day operations. In fact, Aim’s award-winning service not only sustains us; it elevates us. It’s why more and more companies are choosing Aim for their transportation needs. To continue delivering unparalleled service, Aim is committed to hiring and developing the best in the business, and these three gentlemen are the embodiment of that of that commitment. Undoubtedly, they will deliver strong, focused leadership and continue to propel Aim as one of the most trusted and reliable brands for commercial fleet services.

“Nick, LeRoy and Marcus are some of the industry’s best and brightest, and I can safely speak for everyone at Aim when I say how proud and blessed we are to have them on the Aim team,” said Aim’s Vice President of Maintenance, Chris Disantis. “I’ve seen first-hand the hard work and dedication they put into their profession, and I have no doubt they will excel in their new leadership roles.”

LeRoy Casali named Aim Director of Maintenance ProShop

Casali stepped into the commercial transportation industry more than three decades ago as a 20-year-old fueler-washer. Just four years later he transitioned to working under the hood, becoming a mechanic and then a foreman two years after that.

In 2001, Casali joined the Aim family as a Service Manager in Denver, CO, a position he would hold until 2009—earning multiple awards during that span—before being promoted to Regional Maintenance Director. By 2017, he would land his current position of Director of Maintenance for the West. During his tenure at Aim, Mr. Casali has been instrumental in starting 11 Aim ProShops, so one would be hard pressed to find someone bettered suited for his new role, Director of ProShop.

Aim ProShop is a unique service where we manage and streamline the day-to-day operation of a business’s on-site maintenance facility. That means Aim takes charge of its overall performance; ongoing training, hiring and retaining mechanics; human resource matters; administrative tasks (billing, inventory management, reporting, etc.); and much more. This frees up time, money and resources companies can reinvest in their core business.

“Becoming the Director Maintenance of ProShop will be an opportunity for me to help the ProShop align with the Aim full-service lease side of business,” Casali said. “I am looking forward to making connections with new customers and re-connecting with the customers I served when opening the first ProShops, such as Hensley Beverage back in July of 2010 in Phoenix.”

“One of my favorite aspects of working at Aim is the fact that this is a family business,” Casali added. “There is great care amongst team members at all levels, and that care transfers through to our high level of service and top-notch transportation solutions we provide to our customers.”

In his free time, Casali enjoys hiking, snowmobiling, exercising and being in the great outdoors. He and his wife, Kim, live in Colorado, and they have two adult children, Bethany and Cody.

Nick Martin named Director of Maintenance West

Before being promoted to Director of Maintenance West, Nick Martin started with Aim 11 years ago as a Service Manager in Elkhart, IN. His hard work, determination and an insatiable hunger for growth thrust him through the ranks, first being promoted to a Regional Maintenance Director and now, in his new role, he will play an even larger, more critical role in helping lead Aim’s robust maintenance operations across the country.

Martin brings a well-rounded mix of education—holding an associate’s degree in diesel technology and a bachelor’s in business—and work experience—having worked with fleets both small and large as well as invaluable time spent turning wrenches at an International truck dealership prior to joining Aim.

About a year ago, Mr. Martin received special recognition at Aim’s Annual Maintenance meeting, when Chris Disantis, Aim’s Vice President of Maintenance, presented him with the Aim Higher award. The award recognizes those individuals—those always aiming higher—who move the needle for Aim, elevating the Aim brand above its competitors.

“Aim has allowed me to work toward and realize my full potential, and I am excited to accept the position of Maintenance Director,” Martin said. “By being a family-owned company with great leadership, I truly believe each and every employee has the opportunity to advance their career as they wish.”

In Martin’s free time, he and his wife, Brittany, who he cites as his biggest supporter, and their two kids, Logan and Ellie, enjoy the outdoors, boating and being active in their kids’ activities.

Marcus Hawk named Regional Maintenance Director Region 8

Hawk joined Aim in 2017 as the Service Manager for Aim’s location in Gainesville, GA, bringing with him a diverse, well-developed skillset stemming from his time serving his country. As the Regional Maintenance Director, he will oversee maintenance at Aim shops located in Toledo, OH; Indianapolis, IN; Elkhart, IN; and Romulus, MI.

His career under the hood started in the military, where he served as a mechanic in the United States Army. After serving, he worked for several companies under Department of Defense maintenance contracts, handling everything from parts and work-order management to direct- and support-level maintenance—and even operating a wrecker. Just prior to coming on board at Aim, his last DOD contract placed him at a remote military installation as the Transportation Supervisor.

Mr. Hawk’s deft skills under the hood, his thirst for knowledge and growth and his desire to support and advance those around him make him a perfect fit for this leadership role.

“This promotion means the world to me,” Hawk said. “Not only does it show Aim’s faith in me, but this will afford me the opportunity to continue to grow professionally and hopefully spread my energy and enthusiasm to further bolster the Aim brand and all those who support it.”

“Aim is this great ecosystem where I have been able grow, learn and develop myself all while being surrounded with a professional and amazing support system,” Hawk continued. “People from all walks of lives and backgrounds come together on a daily basis to cultivate a family-like atmosphere.”

Hawk dedicates his free time to his family. He enjoys attending and supporting his two sons’ sporting events and afterschool clubs. He also enjoys camping and hiking and supporting UGA football whenever possible.

“Over the last several years, the maintenance division has promoted several individuals who have been with Aim a long time, decades in many cases,” Disantis said. “That’s a testament to Aim’s ability to hire, retain and train the industry’s most talented individuals while creating a work culture that encourages success and a desire to grow. Nick, LeRoy and Marcus are examples of this in a long line of others, and I can’t wait to see what they deliver for us and our valued customers.”
