Tom Reda Promoted to Senior Vice President of Integrated Sales

Aim Transportation Solutions is thrilled to announce that Tom Reda has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of Integrated Sales. Tom started his career with Aim in 2019, bringing over two decades of transportation experience during which he held leadership positions in both operations and business development. Tom has been an instrumental part in growing Aim’s Integrated Logistics division.

Tom has learned the industry from the ground up. He began his career in the transportation industry with scheduling, routing, and dispatching and progressed to managing multiple operations. On top of that, he spent a considerable time designing and selling large-scale transportation solutions.

Tom’s experience also includes multi-client logistics management, from final mile and home delivery to food service and chemical solutions to everything in between. To be able to provide unique services tailored to clients operating wildly different arenas requires a highly specialized skillset and understanding, which is a big part of what made Tom perfectly suited to work with Aim’s diverse nationwide customer base.

At Aim, Tom helps ensure the ongoing development and operational excellence of Aim’s logistics division, which partners with companies to maximize the effectiveness of their entire transportation operation through highly trained and dedicated service personnel, best-in-class drivers, and efficient, top-of-the-line vehicles.

Since joining Aim, Tom has supported the Integrated Logistics team in adding $32+ million in new Dedicated Contract Carriage revenue and retaining an additional $67 million in renewal business by focusing heavily on the customer experience and maintaining acceptable ROIs for the organization.

“We brought Tom on almost four years ago because one of his biggest strengths is stopping at nothing to lead the Integrated sales team in building lasting, mutually beneficial customer partnerships, which is what we’re all about at Aim,” said Aim’s Chief Operating Officer, Dave Gurska. “Despite the unprecedented challenges our industry has faced during the last few years, Tom has lived up to every bit of his reputation and then some, strengthening existing customer relationships and playing a major role in growing our division and the Aim company as a whole.”

For those unfamiliar, a dedicated fleet (also known as dedicated contract carriage) through Aim provides a complete distribution and transportation system for its customers. That’s achieved by providing customers with not only trucks and drivers but the technology necessary to make sure the product or services are delivered effectively, efficiently, and on time. Aim Integrated Logistics comes in with many value-added services beyond managing the fleet and hiring and retaining drivers. Those include: reduced liability, continual route optimization, 24/7-365 operations and roadside support, administrative relief and much more.

“I feel very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to play on team Aim. It’s refreshing to be part of an organization that is flexible and has the ability to make decisions quickly,” said Tom. “I believe this gives us an invaluable competitive advantage in today’s marketplace. That and the talent of our team; our trucks, our shops, our offices are full of professional experts who understand our product, and service to our customers.”

“I feel very appreciated, supported, and thankful for the recognition of this promotion,” he continued.

“I have learned something new just about every day since I joined the team. Being that Aim has so many industry experts it would be hard and just plain ‘silly’ not to take advantage of that knowledge to gain additional experience and know-how,” Tom said when talking about his own personal and professional growth at Aim.

To anyone thinking about joining Aim, Tom says, “Jump in, the water is warm! Aim is a great company with a strong culture that is built around being big enough to support anyone while caring enough to know and support everyone.”
