Aim Transportation Solutions is thrilled to announce that Ron Bourque has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of Safety and Risk Management. Since joining Aim in 2015, Ron has been instrumental in further solidifying the company’s safety-first culture and ensuring Aim is operating in the safest manner possible for the betterment of its employees and customers. 

Ron, a graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in finance, learned the industry from the ground up. He entered the field in 2002, and has since held a variety of roles in different areas of the transportation industry. This set the stage for Ron to join Aim as the Director of Regional Logistics. His unwavering commitment to compliance and operating safely would lead him to being promoted to Vice President of Safety in 2017.

“Since joining Aim, I have learned a considerable amount about the industry as a whole and how much of an effect the overall company’s organization has on the frontline workers,” Ron said. “It speaks to how powerful our company’s culture is. The expectations are high and no one gives half effort.”

“In the Safety Department, we defined our core values as Accountability, Commitment, Integrity, and Trust. They are a reflection of how Aim does business,” Ron added. “The one core value that sticks out the most to me is integrity and Aim does a great job doing what we say we’ll do providing the service we promise to give.”

In Ron’s free time, he likes to spend time with his family and enjoys taking part in activities with his kids.
