Four from Aim Land Masters Club Honors

Selling is hard, but there are those who make it look easy. Perhaps there’s no group that makes it look easier than the business development professionals at Aim Transportation Solutions. That’s because they work tirelessly to ensure Aim’s valued customers’ trucks, equipment and services are tailored to exactly how they do business, increasing efficiency and driving revenue.

Last year, perhaps no one made it look easier than these four NationaLease Masters Club Sales Award winners from Aim: Matt Svancara, Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing; Brian Peisker, Business Development Manager; Kerry Langlois, Senior Account Executive; and Mike Wall, Regional Sales Manager.

Masters Club is a distinct and impressive honor. To understand this, one must zoom out and take in the totality of the stage. There are an impressive 120 independent businesses, including Aim, that unite under the NationLease umbrella. This gives Aim and NationaLease member customers the flexibility they desire as well as access to more than 1,000 service locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Now, each of those 120 businesses have their own sales teams, and out of the hundreds of hard-working, dedicated sales professionals, only 35 of them earned Masters Club honors. More impressive yet, of those 35, Matt, Brian, Kerry and Mike made up 11% of the winners.

Earning the Masters Club distinction isn’t easy. Earning it repeatedly is even harder. Yet, Matt, Kerry, Mike and Brian are all multi-time Masters Club honorees.

NationaLease’s Masters Club program is a points-based system. Throughout the year, salespeople within the NationaLease network earn points for every deal they sign, and if they score 375 points or more (575 for high-level management), then they earn the honors of Masters Club.

Selling out of a particularly tough Chicago market in South Holland, Brian Peisker earned 383 points. Practically next door, working out of Elmhurst, IL, Kerry Langlois, who was also Aim’s 2022 leader in revenue and new customers, scored 622 points. Mike Wall, who sells out of Denver, CO, earned more than doubled the 375-point target with 882.

On top of landing Masters Club, Brian, Kerry and Mike were presented with Aim’s President’s Circle award in January during Aim’s National Sales Meeting, in Fort Myers, FL. And Aim further showed its appreciation by sending them (and everyone on the sales staff who reached or surpassed their goals) to the legendary Fontainebleau resort in Miami Beach for some well-deserved rest and relaxation.

“I’m so thankful and proud to be honored alongside Kerry, Brian and Mike, representing Aim in front of the NationaLease membership,” Matt Svancara said. “Their determination and skill are awe-inspiring, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have them—and the entirety of the amazing Aim sales staff—on my team.”

When it comes to Masters Club, not only is Matt Svancara multi-time award winner, he’s a hall-of-famer—literally. In 2017, Matt was inducted into the Masters Club Hall of Fame for outstanding sales performance 10 or more consecutive years, a streak he has kept alive all these years later. On top of making Masters Club, Matt was NationaLease’s 2022 Salesperson of the Year, earning 2,475 points.

“2022 has marked the 17th consecutive year in which Matt has achieved Masters Club status, including the last two in which he was the recipient of the Salesperson of the Year Award,” NationaLease Senior Vice President of National Account Sales Joe Gallick said. “In addition to being an outstanding sales professional, Matt is also an exemplary leader and mentor of salespeople and active collaborator with the NationaLease national account team contributing to his success over the years.

“His devotion to his family and the Aim NationaLease organization, in addition to knowledge, perseverance and integrity, are hallmarks of his character and the NationaLease heritage.”

“Despite earning Masters Club honors 17 times, this time and every time is just as special as the first,” said Matt, “and I’m honored and grateful for not only the recognition but also the support Aim has provided in fostering an environment of success to make this achievement possible.”

For their extraordinary achievement, Aim’s award winners were flown to beautiful San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, for the 22nd annual Masters Club Awards ceremony and a few days of fun in the sun. (Unfortunately Kerry was unable to attend.) And you wouldn’t be able to get this elite group together without talking shop, so an informal meeting was held to discuss the industry and trends they’re seeing in their individual markets.

One of the biggest differentiators between Aim and its competitors is connection. At Aim, our salespeople don’t simply sell. They forge relationships. They create thoughtful, value-driven solutions. The sell is a byproduct of that. Kerry, Mike and Brian embody this idea each and every day, and Aim is eternally grateful for their hard work and determination as well as Matt’s steadfast leadership.
