Aim Welcomes New Director of National Accounts & Sales for Aim Integrated Logistics

Aim Transportation Solutions, a family-owned and -operated provider of commercial trucks and transportation services for more than 50 years, welcomes Frank DeMain III to the role of Director of National Accounts & Sales for Aim Integrated Logistics. In this key position, DeMain will be a single point of contact and support for Aim’s valued dedicated fleet customers across the country that operate out of multiple locations.

With more than a decade of experience in the transportation industry, a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in legal processes and business management from Youngstown State University and 22 years of law enforcement, DeMain brings a diverse, well-rounded background to Aim. It’s the kind of resume that promotes the innovative, never-say-never approach to business and problem-solving Aim has built and grown its brand on.

Based out of Aim’s headquarters in Youngstown, OH, DeMain’s focus will be on existing and potential dedicated fleet customers with large operations spanning multiple locations. Aim Integrated Logistics’ dedicated fleet service, at its most basic, provides businesses with trucks and drivers. What’s unique about this division (a Top-25 Carrier in the nation according to Transport Topics as well as Armstrong & Associates) is that it elevates this basic principle, working hand-in-hand with customers to engineer unique solutions that increase efficiency and maximize profitability for their specific operations. So, rather than force businesses into a specific, pre-determined logistics model, Aim Integrated Logistics builds the model around a business’s specific needs.

DeMain’s 13 years of transportation experience translates perfectly to his new position as Aim’s Director of National Accounts & Sales. In prior roles, he managed operations at UPS and another logistics company, where he left as a regional manager overseeing their grocery business and contract renewals. There he oversaw 300 employees, multi-site operations, three yard operations and two full-service truck-and-trailer shops.

“As the Aim Integrated Logistics division grows, and the markets we service increases, we have identified the need for a new position—the Director of National Accounts & Sales—to support our clients with multiple locations by giving them a single point of contact,” said Tom Reda, Aim Integrated Logistics Vice President of Business Development. “Frank was a natural fit for this position given his industry expertise had having similar roles.”

The creation of this role—and filling it with someone of DeMain’s caliber—reflects Aim’s unwavering commitment to fostering close, trusted one-on-one relationships with its valued customers.

In between his time in the transportation industry, DeMain was a police officer in Poland Township, an area just outside of Youngstown, for 22 years. However, even while working in the transportation industry, he remained with the police department part-time, and he still supports them at community events on weekends as well as training and mentoring rookie officers.

Mr. DeMain enjoys spending his free time with his wife at his two daughters’ soccer games. His oldest coaches for a local high school girls varsity team, and his youngest plays as a freshman at a different local high school. On top of that, DeMain is a board member for the Magic of Michael Foundation, where he devotes the rest of his free time to helping area families who have children with disabilities.

“Coming from Youngstown, family is the heartbeat of our community,” said DeMain when asked why he chose Aim. “Personally, the Aim family legacy stood out as an organization that truly cares about its people and community; professionally, Aim has a respected growing business model in the industry, which I wanted to be a part of and help grow for years to come.”

“We are extremely excited for Frank to join the team; his proven success in in creating and maintaining business partnerships that are mutually beneficial with prove invaluable to our continued success,” Reda concluded.
