Since the vital role a truck driver plays happens behind the scenes, it’s easy for many to overlook how critical they are to the American way of life. At Aim, however, drivers are anything but overlooked. They, along with our diesel mechanics, are front and center in all that we do.
Celebrating National Truck Driver Appreciation Week (NTDAW) is one of many ways Aim shows appreciation for our drivers. For those unfamiliar, this weeklong event calls upon Americans to show their appreciation for the country’s 3.6 million professional truck drivers and the fundamental role they carry out with pride and humility.
While Aim doesn’t need a special reminder of how crucial our truck drivers are for us to be able to provide best-in-class dedicated fleet services through our Aim Integrated Logistics division, Aim never misses seizing NTDAW to give our professional drivers an extra helping of appreciation.
In a world of rapid change, evolving work dynamics and shifting economic landscapes, it’s an extraordinary achievement for an individual to celebrate 30 years at a single company. Dave Gurska, Aim Integrated Logistics’ Chief Operating Officer, recently marked three decades of unwavering dedication and commitment to Aim Transportation Solutions.
Let’s rewind to 1991, right before Dave’s 30-year journey at Aim began. Dave’s education in business administration from Penn State-Behrend set the stage for him to start work for his father’s startup company. However, the economy then was in rough shape, and after a couple of years, they decided he needed to go out on his own. Dave’s next stop: Aim.

What’s truly astounding about this operation is Creighton Brothers’ involvement in every layer of egg production. Across 8,000 acres of land, they operate a number of growing and laying farms, crop farms for feed production, a feed mill facility and an egg processing plant.
